At Madison Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in band in grades 6-8. In the 7th students begin playing in the Middle School Marching Band and small group ensembles. In the 8th grade students get their first experience with jazz.
Mrs. Decker is a graduate of the University of South Dakota. She is also originally from Illinois and plays the flute, trumpet, saxophone, and piano. This will be her 4th year of teaching.
Concert dates for all grades are listed below:
September 30th - DSU Parade @ 10 am (7th & 8th Grade Only)
December 18th - Matinee Performance of Winter Concert @ 1:45 pm
December 19th - Winter Concert @ 7 pm
May 7th - Spring Concert @ 7 pm
